Type Species
The type species (holotype) of the genus Platoma is Platoma cyclocolpum (Montagne) F.Schmitz.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Wetherbeella foliosa (Womersley & Kraft) Saunders & Kraft.
