Type information
Type locality: Portsea Pier, Port Philip Bay, Victoria (38°20'S, 144°44'E) (Kraft & Gabrielson 1983: 48). Holotype: Kraft, Huisman & Wynne (cystocarpic); 25 March 1981; 4-5 m deep, on Solieria robusta which was on stones around the pilings of jetty. MELU K3399 (Kraft & Gabrielson 1983: 48, fig. 1).
