Adjective (Latin), very little, very least (Stearn 1973).

This is a marine species.
Type locality: Kellett Channel, between Isla Cedros and Punta San Eugenio, Baja California (Dawson 1953: 47). Holotype: K. O. Emery; May 1945; 25-30 m depth. UC (Dawson 1953: 47). Notes: Dawson, 1953 notes isotype is in Herbarium HAHF on sheet 8910.
