Taylor 39-650; May 9, 1939; Velero III Station no. 970, dredged from a depth of 21.5m from the bottom of coralline and other algae; Herb. A. Hanock Foundation; sheet 2391 (Dawson 1961: 228) Notes: A collection from off Punta Frailes, Baja California (D. 6891) in 8-15m seems to represent this species in rather young stages
