This is a marine species.
Palolo Deep Naturual Marine Reserve, Apia, Samoa, South Pacific (South & Skelton 1999: 245). Holotype: Abundant all year round on dead corals and coral rubble along the rim of the deep, betweem 2 and 10 m depth.. SUVA 1565 (South & Skelton 1999: 245). Notes: Isotypes: SUVA (USP) 1566 (spermatangial plant); SUVA (USP) 2402 (tetrasporangial plant).
