This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Hymenocladia usnea (R.Brown ex Turner) J.Agardh.
Type Information
Type locality: Western Australia; (Silva & al. 1996: 367) Lectotype: Mueller; Herb. Agardh, LD; 26253 (Womersley 1996: 109) Notes: From "Nov. Holl. Occid.". According to Womersley (1996: 109), this is a slender, regularly subdistichously branched plant of H. usnea.
