Type locality: Nagahama, near Maizura, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan (Hoek & Chihara 2000: 175). Holotype: I. Umezaki; May 1949; on shell of the marine gastropod Lunella coronata Gmelin. SAP 029140 (Boedeker et al. 2012: 820).
