This is a marine species.
Description
Frond up to 15 cm. high, intricate, attaching to each other or substratum and other things here and there, compressed, 1-2 mm. wide in the lower portion, alternately or pseudodichotomously branched; hairs about 3-4 mm. long, about 20 microns thick. Sporangia unknown.
Habitat
Grows on coral reefs in the sublittoral zone.
