Type Species
The type species (holotype) of the genus Symphyocladia is Symphyocladia marchantioides (Harvey) Falkenberg.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Symphyocladia pumila (Yendo) S.Uwai & M.Masuda.
