Type information
Type locality: Austria: Lunzer Untersee (t?, not clearly legible) (Silva 1996-to date). Lectotype: Permanent slide taken from the dimorphic strain M1077 (epitype) (Hoef-Emden & Melkonian 2003: 393). Notes: Lectotype: Geitler 1922, Int. Rev. Gesamten Hydrobiol. 10: 685, fig. f; Epitype: Slide of strain M1077 and deposited at the CCAC under the designation CRYP.E.002 (designated by Hoef-Emden and Melkonian (2003: 393).
