Notes: Lectotype: Geitler 1922, Int. Rev. Gesamten Hydrobiol. 10: 685, fig. f; Epitype: Slide of strain M1077 and deposited at the CCAC under the designation CRYP.E.002 (designated by Hoef-Emden and Melkonian (2003: 393).
