Type locality: Tasmania, Australia; (De Clerck 2003: 179) Lectotype: LD; 49595 (De Clerck 2003: 179) Notes: De Clerck (2003) notes that lectotypification was established by Womersley (1967: 214). According to Womersley (1987: 210), this species is based on a Western Port, Vic., specimen of Wilson (8 January 1892), in LD (49549).
