Holotype: M.F. Keenan; September 1930; Leland Stanford Junior University paleontological type collection No. 5637, includes slide 1159 (Woelkerling 1998: 352). Notes: Isotype: PC, General Herbarium box collection (fossil; filed in non-geniculate coralline type collections cabinet under basionym). Howe (1934: 511, footnote 20) lists the locations od additional isotypes.
