Type locality: Fremantle, Western Australia (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 328). Lectotype: Herb. Agardh, LD 25565 (Womersley 1994: 337). Notes: This type locality was first recorded by Min-thein & Womersley (1976: 27).
