Taxonomic note
Kylin (1956: 534) made Dasyclonium cuneifolium the type of his genus Euzonia, but, in the opinion of Scagel (1953: 83), “all the species of the genus [Dasyclonium] as presently recognised are so closely related that to separate them into two genera would only tend to obliterate this natural relationship.” - (11 May 2006) - G.M.
