The type species (holotype) of the genus Hildenbrandia is Hildenbrandia prototypus Nardo.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Riverina jigongshanensis (F.Nan & S.Xie) C.W.Vieira & G.W.Saunders.
