Live culture: Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa, Scottish Association for Marine Science, Scottish Marine Inst. Iconotype: Figs 5,8, 12-15 (Yang et al. 2010). Isotype: Dried specimen on paper at Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. Cryopreserved culture: CCMP 3276, Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Science, ME.
