Type Species
The type species (holotype) of the genus Janczewskia is Janczewskia verruciformis Solms-Laubach.

This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Laurencia morimotoi (Tokida) M.Preuss, Diaz-Tapia, Verbruggen & Zuccarello.
