Paratype: (UAMIZ 1241) vegetative and male plants, coll. A. Sentíes & M.T. Fujii s.n., 16 November 2008.
Eponomy
"The specific epithet makes reference to “Anabel”, the ancient goddess of love in the western Caribbean Sea region."
