Lindauer (No. 64 of his Algae Nova-Zelandicae Exsiccatae); 27 December 1936; WELT; A000864 (Hommersand & al. 2010: 562) Notes: Isotypes: Specimens distributed as No. 64 in Lindauer's Algae Nova-Zelandicae Exsiccatae, including a male and two tetrasporangial plants at NCU, a cystocarpic plant at Hamburg (HBG), and a tetrasporangial plant at Stockholm (S).
