The type species (holotype) of the genus Janczewskia is Janczewskia verruciformis Solms-Laubach.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Laurencia solmsii (Setch. & Guernsey) M.Preus, Diaz-Tapia, Verbruggen & Zuccarello.
