Habitat note
common on bedrock, rarely on cobble; epizoic on coral, sponge or mollusc; common subtidally to 20 m depth but also found intertidally, especially in low intertidal pools, on exposed shores and in more protected waters in the Salish Sea (Hind et al., 2016). - (30 January 2017) - G.M. Guiry
