Description: Cell enclosed in a brown thick-walled lorica, fastened with a stalk to an algal filament, and with 2 horizontal pores. Protoplast has 1-2 parietal chloroplasts without stigma, and a posterior contractile vacuole. Reproduction and stomatocysts unknown. Freshwater epiphyte on Stigeoclonium in a pond in Czechoslovakia.
