Description: Cells are ovale or oblong truncate, dorsiventrally compressed, without visible evidence of plastid; two flagella emerge from a papilla-like protrusion on ventral subapical region; possessing ejectisomes; a nucleus is located in the middle; feeding on microalgae or bacteria.
