Description: Trichomes with parietal arrangement of thylakoids (distinguishable centro- and chromatoplasm), constricted at the cross walls, cells shorter than wide or almost isodiametric. End of filament is distinctly wider and cells are more constricted than the normal vegetative cells. Colourless fine sheath, sometimes wider and layered. Reproduction by hormogonia, necridic cells present.
