Description: Thin trichomes (less than 3 lm width) composed by cylindrical, isodiametric or elongated cells and more or less conical terminal cells. Large amount of slime can be observed surrounding the filaments. Parietal arrangement of the thylakoids. Terminal cells are more or less conical, sometimes rounded with calyptra . Reproduction by hormogonia, necridic cells not observed. Motile.
