Distributional note
“Since the occurrence in the Mediterranean Sea of C. cimbricum v. cimbricum should be confirmed (Gómez Garreta et al., 2001), we think that records of C. cimbricum as well as of its synonyms C. fastigiatum and C. fastigiramosum should be referred to C. cimbricum f. flaccidum.” (Furnari et al., 2003). - (11 May 2006) - G.M.
