Nomenclatural note
This is a new name to accommodate previous records of Lithophyllum incrustans from northern Europe (Britain, Ireland, France). The proposal is based on the account of Lithothamnion depressum given by Chamberlain & Irvine (1994, 79, fig. 27C). Priority for Lithophyllum depressum A. Villas-Boas, M. Figueiredo, & R.
