Type locality: White' Point, San Pedro, California (Drew 1928: 179). Holotype: Gardner, no. 1928; February; hosts: two forms of Amphiroa tuberculosa. UC 276411 (Drew 1928: 179). Notes: Isotype in AHF (sheet 8792); see Dawson (1953: 27).
