Type locality: "Nov. Holl." (possibly Western Australia); (Silva & al. 1996: 532) Notes: Probably W. Aust.; not located in Herb. Lamouroux, CN (Womersly, 2003: 406).

Adjective (Latin), producing offsets, bearing progeny as offshoots (Stearn 1973).
