Type locality: Ryukyu Islands; (Masuda & al. 1995: 196) Lectotype: C. Wright; TCD; (Masuda & al. 1995: 196, figs 14, 15) Notes: Syntype localities: "Ousima, and the proper Loo Choo Islands" (Harvey 1860: 331).
