Syntype localities: "ad littora Hindostaniae";, "Souliperon", (Ceylon) (Silva & al. 1996: 663). Notes: Silva et al. (1996) recommend consulting G. Martens (1868: 79) for more information on the syntype localities of this species. Souliperon (Ceylon), Indonesia; Syntypes: LD2569, 2570 (Mattio et al., 2015).
