Type locality: China [not clear from which of two localities the type was collected]; (Yang & al. 2025: [7]) Holotype: August 2018; soil surface; HBU; FACHB-(3452) (cryopreserved) (Yang & al. 2025: [7]) Notes: "In August 2018, two strains of algae were obtained from the light green soil surface of Xiantao (HB1822)... Hubei Province and Xishuangbanna (BN1829)..., Yunnan Province, respectively.
