Status of name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Lithophyllum bamleri (Heydrich) Heydrich
Type locality: Tami Island, Huon Gulf, Papua New Guinea (Silva & al. 1996: 247). Lectotype: Bamler; date not determined; PC (Woelkerling 1998: 331). Notes: The type in PC, designated by Verheij (1993: 39), may be missing. Woelkering et al. (2005: 44) say that it is in the General Herbarium.
