Type Information
Notes: "Although Foslie (1905c: 69) equated his taxon with material identified as Melobesia callithamnioides ‘Crouan’ by Falkenberg (1879) and by several subsequent authors, Foslie explicitly excluded Hapalidium callithamnioides P.L. & H.M. Crouan (1860: 287) from his taxon. Thus M. farinosa f. callithamnioides must be treated as a new taxon described by Foslie. Collections listed in Adey & Lebednik 1967: 32-34 under Melobesia farinosa without mention of forma]. Type: not designated (see Chamberlain 1983: 351-352). TRH has two syntypes (A15-887, A15-888)."
