According to Womersley (1998: 430), Endogenia gracilaria J. Agardh from Port Elliott, S. Australia (type in Herb. Agardh, LD, 29790) is a very denuded plant of Dasya villosa, with typical tetrasporangial structure and a few monosiphonous filaments and young stichidia. - (14 January 2009) - G.M. Guiry
