This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Psilothallia striata (Harvey) F.Schmitz
Type locality: Rottnest Island, Western Australia (Silva & al. 1996: 421). Lectotype: Harvey; Herb. Harvey, TCD Trav. Set 240 (Womersley 1998: 369).
