Adjective (Latin), reticulate, netted, marked with a network (Stearn 1973).
This is a marine species.
Forming irregular patches in the walls of Desmarestia dresnayi Lamouroux ex Léman and D. ligulata (Lightfoot) Lamouroux, subtidal (Brodie & Irvine 2003).
