Adjective (Latin), flesh-coloured (Stearn 1983).
General Environment
This is a marine species.
Habitat
Epiphytic on various algae (e.g. Porphyra, Polyides, Dictyota, Padina) and on eelgrass Zostera; midlittoral to shallow sublittoral in sheltered habitats, also deep sublittoral (Brodie & Irvine 2003: 67).
