Type locality: Turn Island, near Friday Harbor, Washington; (Dawson 1954: 291)Depth of 5-10 fathoms; (Dawson 1954: 291) Notes: Dawson (1945: 291) Holotype not designated, but represented by the specimen illustrated by Kylin, probably in his herbarium at the University of Lund, Sweden. An isotype in the Herbarium of the University of California is dated July 22, 1924
