Type locality: Peggy's Cove (44º29' N, 63º55' W), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (Correa, Nielsen & Grund 1988: 529). Holotype: J. Correa; 30 May 1985; epi/endophyte in C. crispus. ARL NRCC No. 10716 (Correa, Nielsen & Grund 1988: 529). Notes: Isotype: ARL (NRCC No. 10717); C.
