Schiller 1955, nom illeg.); (Index Nominum Algarum) Lectotype: Schiller 1956, fig. 57b: Epitype: fig. 3h (epitype) (Lukomska-Kowalczyk et al. 2021: 772) Notes: Lectotype: Schiller, Figure 57a in Osterr. Akad. Wiss., Math.-Naturwiss. Kl., Sitzungsber., Abt. 1, Biol., plate 12, Vienna 1956 (Triemer et al., 2006). Lukomska-Kowalczyk et al. (2021: 772) note that the typification statement of Triemer et al. does not include the phrase "designated here". Austria, Lake Neusiedler See near Breitenbrunn.
