Type locality: Signal Point, Lord Howe Island, Australia (Kraft 2000: 580). Holotype: G.T. Kraft & C. O'Brien; 13 May 1977; from the back walls of shore-facing undercuts of calcarenite stacks at Far Rocks, 1-1.5 m depth. MELU A38836 (fig 28A) (Kraft 2000: 580). Notes: Kraft (2007: 122) cites MELU LHI-9770 as the Holotype.
