Type information
Type locality: Australia, probably near Sydney (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 638). Type: Lambert; BM (ex K) (Womersley 1987: 284). Notes: Silva et al. (1996) recommend consulting Millar & Kraft (1994a: 22) for more information on the type locality of this species. Womersley (1987) cites the type locality as "New Holl.".

Womersley (1987: 284) cites the authority for this species as Turner 1811.
