Nomenclatural note
Illegitimate: later homonym of Cladostephus myriophyllum C.Agardh (M.J. Wynne, pers. comm.), also illegitimate. Bory also appears to be including Cladostephus verticillatus Agardh in synonymy. "myriophyllum" is a noun in apposition and non-declinable. - (26 August 2013) - M.D. Guiry
