Lithophyllum capense Rosanoff
Type locality: Cape Agulhas, South Africa (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 273). Lectotype: collector not indicated; date not indicated; no habitat data on type. CN Hohenhacker specimen 236 in Algae Marinae Siccatae, specimen in the Lenormand herbarium; designated by Chamberlain in Woelkerling & Verheij, 1995: 38 (Woelkerling 1998: 306). Notes: Isolectotypes: PC, unnumbered, Thuret-Bornet Herbarium (algal fascicle 131, filed under Lithothamnion); BM, sheet collections, unnumbered (filed under Lithophyllum); L (see Woelkerling & Verheij, 1995: 38). Collector: R.F. Hohenacker, Alg. Mar. Sic. no. 236; Lectotype fide Chamberlain in W.J Woelkerling & E. Verheij, Blumea 40:38. 1995: Y.M. Chamberlain, Cryptogamie Algologie 21: 376, fig.1, 2000 (INA).
