This is a marine species.

Type information
Type locality: 2 miles north of Isla Partida, Gulf of California, Mexico (Dawson 1954: 272). Holotype: Dawson; Feb. 5, 1940; On rocky bottom at a depth of 110-116 m. HAHF Dawson 433-40 on sheet 28, including slides 2209-2211, 2218 (Dawson 1954: 272).
