Type information
Lectotype locality: Bangor, North Wales (Silva, Basson & Moe 1996: 739). Lectotype: Harvey (1851: pl. CCLXXXII) (epitype) J. Ralfs; (Hayden et al. 2003: 290). Notes: According to Womersley (1984: 154) the type is from Bangor, N. Wales. Bliding (1963: 45) reports that there were no types in TCD; Hayden et al. (2003) found no types in BM and selected as lectotype the illustration mentioned above.
