Taxonomic note
Hauch (1883) and Reinbold (1892) considered this entity to be conspecific with Chantransia virgatula (Acrochaetium virgatulum). Silva et al. (1996: 101) included these three species as synonyms of Acrochaetium secundatum. Ardissone (1883) referred it to A. savianum.
According to John et al. (2004) this entity can probably be referred to the genus Colaconema. - (11 May 2006) - G.M. Guiry
