This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Lepocinclis gracillicauda (Deflandre) Zakryś & Łukomska.

Type locality: Paris, France; (Lukomska-Kowalczyk & al. 2019: 291) Notes: "Holotype: Deflandre 1924, fig. 23. Epitype: Figure 3p designated herein that supports the holotype (Deflandre 1924, fig. 23)." ((Lukomska-Kowalczyk & al. 2019).
