The type species (holotype) of the genus Synura is Synura uvella Ehrenberg.
Status of Name
This name is currently regarded as a synonym of Neotessella lapponica (Skuja) B.Y.Jo, J.I.Kim, W.Shin, P.Škaloud & P.A.Siver.
